LCD screen is blank after 10 months

I give it 5 stars at the moment. I bought my GH5 in July 2017 and was very happy with the complete delivery of my purchase. So far I have been satisfied with the product itself. After about 6 months I noticed that the touch screen stopped working. Not a major setback as I was still able to use the joystick for selective focus. However, I was on set today and the screen didn't light up at all. I've tried all troubleshooting methods but to no avail. Back home I tried the camera with an external monitor and it actually worked. I realize this is probably an isolated case, but this is an opportunity for Panasonic to support its product. I have contacted both the company that sold the camera (through Revain) and Panasonic and am awaiting a response. Will be updated as soon as I get a message. UPDATE: Apparently my camera was dropped which caused the LCD screen to fail slowly and systematically. You sent in your device about 3 weeks ago. I just received my refurbished camera from Panasonic and everything works great - they even updated the firmware to V23. I've heard some bad reviews about Panasonic's poor customer service, but that was NOT my experience. Communication was good, staff were friendly, repair was completed in a very reasonable time frame and they sent me a GH5 free of charge while my unit was repaired. I highly recommend the camera and the company behind it.
