This was the perfect choice for my 5 year old daughter. I've washed this backpack twice (we have a policy of not putting it on the floor - it helps keep out germs and dirt) and nothing has shown any weakness or wear. She loves the design, the fabric is very water-repellent and washable. She is comfortable as she is very small so a pillow is good! I'm assuming this will pass kindergarten with no problem and be used again next year! The pockets inside, on the front and on the sides have also proven to be very practical. Excellent purchase!
