It took me over an hour to remove the glass from an old MacBook Pro. I made sure to seal the cracked screen with tape to minimize the glass falling out, heat the glue and all that. I removed tiny piece of glass by tiny piece. After finally removing all the broken glass and installing new screen glass, I still had a stain under the screen that is visible when the computer is on. I must not have been paying attention or noticing until the computer was on and the new adhesive had already bonded. It's very annoying but I'll try not to look at it because to be honest 1) a stain is way better than a bunch of cracks 2) I installed it really cheap when I could pay someone over $500 for it To me .
