I was pleasantly surprised by this eyelash curling kit. I didn't think it would work so well. I let the solutions sit for as little time as possible and used the smallest lifting pad. It's not a crazy lift, but it definitely has a nice curl. Enough that I don't use an eyelash curler. I think it's easier to have someone to help. I had my daughter's eyelash extensions done and she did a great job. I've made my own and they still came out pretty good, but it's definitely easier to have someone else do it for you. I really like the results and would definitely use it again for myself and my teenage daughter. I've included photos, one with mascara and one without, for demonstration.
