I dared with this universal size. I'm 5ft 10", 165lbs and usually wear a size 8. I bought khaki pants with black polka dots. Although they fit I can wear them, the tulle only comes down to mid-calf. The petticoat is not transparent and is khaki (brown). There are two layers of tulle. The middle layer is khaki and slightly longer than the petticoat. While the outer layer is khaki with black dots and the longest is a short layer of tulle under the long layer of tulle long layer sticks together with a short one. The petticoat is not see-through and falls just below the knee. The outer tulle reaches mid-calf. So most of the rock is visible. It's all below the knee but I didn't like the way it looked. The skirt is beautiful. I just didn't like the way it looked on me.
