This is my third pair of this shoe (last two are Revain). I have flat feet with orthotics prescribed by a doctor. My legs always hurt. I walk 2.5 miles a day for health and will only run in these shoes, period. It doesn't eliminate the pain, but has found them to cause the least amount of pain out of many others I've tried. Decent grip, very soft soles and I've never felt cold feet, even 45 minutes outside at 25ºC. If you have orthopedic insoles, you can carefully remove the insoles included in the kit. They are simply glued on. It looks like you're going to ruin the shoes, but they come out very well. I also like that they stay "just right" on your feet without having to tie them (non-tying laces are like little bungee laces that stretch when you put them on). Dark gray pairs perfectly with jeans or shorts of any color (I think) and it doesn't show dirt. They may not be perfect for you, but given the affordable price, it's worth trying a pair.
