I got these two ago Bought years ago to use as plant lights, experience has taught me that the ideal color for growing all types of plants is 5000K and I needed a light that could be placed high enough for the plants to be 60cm or can grow taller. At that height, these lights cover an area of about two feet. I mainly grow cacti and succulents. These lights are bright enough to bring out the red and brown pigmentation of my plants. I have them in different types of overlays used and they work well with all of them, they emit a pure white light that shows the true color of my plants and flowers. They have been burning for an average of twelve hours a day for two years and show no signs of run-up. I would highly recommend them to any indoor gardener. A pack of six of these lights is priced less than a 'grow light' and they cover about five times the area.
