My phone is charging pretty fast, movements are sure to let you know it's been charged with my old charger in the past. I didn't fully plug my phone in because I thought it was charging it wasn't but with that it's obvious because when you put this cable in the course the movement starts and when you take it out the movement slows down and after a few seconds it turns off, then when fully charged, the movement also slows down Love it
