This radio is an amazing deal when you know what you are getting. It's not hi-fi and it's not overly sensitive. However, it works surprisingly well for the low price (I paid less than $15 for it) and if you can navigate a non-English manual it's pretty easy to work with. A few caveats about the device. Receive: no option to disable FM stereo reception (even if you really want FM mono for better clarity/DX/sensitivity), and the built-in clock can only work in 24-hour "military" time mode - no AM /PM capability . I am however very happy with my purchase and it is a great radio for emergencies or even the occasional SW DXing.
