Watch comes without instructions. Setting the day and date requires persistence. (Half versus full raise of top handle and clock counter-clockwise) - but I'm still not sure if tomorrow will switch from Saturday (day) to Sunday (day) or stay Saturday but French! The second hand often does not align with the 60 second mark. Putting on the chain also requires a lot of endurance. It comes with a working battery, but I don't see an easy way to remove the back cover to change the battery - I may have to take it to a jeweler to have it done. Not as massive (or large) as a real early 20th century pocket watch.
