I've had a toddy for countless years. I thought the original paper filters were a breakthrough. But these are even better. I brew for 24 hours and sometimes toddy paper filters tear a bit if I press too hard to squeeze out the last few drops of coffee. I think the brewing time weakened the paper. These bags, no matter what material they are made of, retain their strength even after 24 hours. No breaks. And they give no taste. And they're cheaper than toddy bags.
