Purchased size 6-7 for my daughter who will be 6 soon The extra length fitted well. I have compared them to my son's size 6-7 Walmart winter pants and they are about the same length so I think they are true to size. They look good, appear to be of good quality, are comfortable and waterproof. The waist seems a bit tight for this length. Therefore, if you are buying a husky for a child, you should take this into account.
