FOR THOSE OF YOU INTERESTED IN WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE THIS IS NOT JUST A PART AS STATED IN BUSINESS QUESTIONS. BUILD QUALITY: Bought the older model (BT7215, 7000 series) about 3 years ago. It was still working for me when I bought it. Others have said that plastic parts break, but I haven't experienced that. Be careful how you use the blade and guard, I caught myself trying to tighten it backwards a few times and I'm sure if I pushed any harder it would snap. It should click smoothly. The only reason I replaced was because I lost the guard and charger along the way, found another charger that worked but apparently the head guard cannot be replaced. DIFFERENCE IN THE NEW MODEL: I spent some time looking for a difference between this version and the version I had and I struggled to find anything. After the purchase, in my experience, the newer one has slightly better blades and a significantly better vacuum cleaner in addition to the color. If the battery were different, I don't know that both versions last me forever. CONS: - A bit pricey - Vacuum protection doesn't clean everything when you expect it to, but it certainly makes cleaning that much easier. . Let's say 80% goes in.- Sometimes it needs a second pass, blades don't work wonders but that doesn't bother me.- Tank cleaning is suboptimal. I'm afraid of breaking the plastic clips after reading the reviews and having to remove the guard and blade to clean the tank is annoying. Sometimes when the hair is thick you may need to stop the trimmer and pull the nozzle. Blades/vacuum area to keep everything running smoothly PROS: - Easier cleaning overall, of course hair tends to stay in a much smaller area if they don't get caught in the vacuum - Battery lasts forever between charges - Built-in length adjuster - Better interface, that I have seen for this, the steps are very small and there is no need to change the guard, you do everything and ensure an even shave every time. - not an expert, but it performs well on both the top and bottom, leaving a consistent length for me
