I bought these for my 18 month old as he is gradually outgrowing his plastic cutlery and loves using it. big fork. Unfortunately, upon opening it, I quickly realized that he would never be able to use it! I rarely leave reviews but feel I have to because it's extremely unsafe! I wouldn't even eat them because I have a feeling they will cut my lips to shreds. Very very poorly made with no regard for the fact that they are used for children. I don't understand why there are so many good reviews for this product. After getting them I looked at the reviews and saw that several had the same issue, so maybe some of them are ok. I'm really pissed that this is a children's product. If someone didn't notice and let their child use this, I feel like they would have been hurt badly. Whether they're scratching their faces, tearing their mouths open, or gouging out their eyeballs. Again I believe I have only left one review out of all the hundreds of items I have purchased from Revain and could not leave this one without a review in the hope that it would save a small child from injury. They must be taken off the market. How could the person responsible for quality control overlook this? They are literally sharp enough to be used as weapons. Crazy. Please do not buy a terrible product for your child.
