Review on πŸš— For Jeep Renegade 2015-2020 Foglight Assembly - Driver/Passenger Side, DOT Certified by Sean Skinner

Good aftermarket light, not OEM

Great price, fast delivery! The part was a very good replacement for the original but not OEM or at least not quite the same as the one I removed. There's a new lightbulb in there. It's just as bright and mounts exactly as the original, except it's slightly shorter, leaving a small 4mm gap in front of the light box. It cannot move further forward because it sits flush on the bracket. Mine was used on a Jeep Compass Trail Hawk and is identical to the one used on the Renegade. Left and right headlights are the same. You have to turn the steering wheel all the way to the right on the passenger side or all the way to the left on the driver's side to get there. Then remove the 2 plastic fender trim retainers (using a fender trim clip remover or a small screwdriver and lift the knob about half an inch and then pry the entire clip out of the hole) at the bottom front and then the 2 screws just above . this. You don't have to take the whole fender off like I mentioned and strip it off to have a few inches to work with. A socket for light. There are 4 screw holes on the bracket, 3 for screws and the last hole is just on a small plastic stand for alignment. It's a bit of a hassle to remove and install, but with a little patience and a very small set of ratchets, it can be done in about 30 minutes or less.

Pros
  • Very good value for money
Cons
  • Useless features
