Review on LilGadgets Connect+ Kids Premium Volume Limited Wired Headphones - Pink: SharePort and In-Line Microphone Included! by Maurice Malek

I have twins aged 4. They've been using these headphones every day for a damn year, or so they've had them. The sound quality is great initially, although we've had to send replacement cables to us on a couple of occasions. (The company rep I spoke to told me that the cables have been improved since I first bought the product.) If you have young children like mine who have not yet mastered the art of caring for electronics/accessories mastered, you might want to look elsewhere. My kids stepped on it and broke the headgear on both headphones. One of the twins currently uses them taped to the top (and the sound only goes through one ear) and my other twin's headphones became unusable after having to wiggle the cable plug to let the sound through. These headphones were also stepped on and broke. I will say that the customer service with this company is second to none. They were more than helpful and generous with spare cables. I have to admit that I got tired of calling a third (or fourth?) time with a sound problem, so I gave up on the product and decided to try another company's product. When your kids are older and take better care of their belongings, you might want to give them a chance. My kids could wear them on the go for a few hours without complaining of earaches. However, if you have rough kids like me, skip the time consuming work with the (amazing) customer service team and see if you can find a more durable product, which I do. right now. UPDATE: July 2017 - The company read my initial review and contacted me to ask me to try their newest and improved model. I immediately noticed that the headphones were SIGNIFICANTLY more powerful than the previous pair. My kids could probably step on them and not break them easily! The cushioning around the ears also seems to have been greatly improved. The sound quality is also excellent. I'll update my rating to 5 stars again if the headphones hold up as well as I think they will in a few months.
