PLEASE NOTE that these tubes are not fully sealed. You are not as strong as I would like. After screwing the cap on tightly, you can squeeze some more air out of the tube. Air escapes under the cap and the tube shrinks in no time. It gives me no confidence at all. The product inside is easy to leak and constantly exposed to the air. This means the lip gloss won't hold OR stay in the tube. I'm so sad. I was really excited to use these lip gloss tubes and was hopeful that it would work. But unfortunately this is not the case. There is nothing to confirm the safety of this plastic and there is no mention that it is BPA free. I'm assuming it isn't. Update: I decided to test one of the tubes anyway because I needed it a few days ago. I made a lovely liquid hand moisturizer using vegetable glycerin, aloe vera gel, almond oil and 2 drops of lavender essential oil. I tried it right away, but it was an urgent gift for my mother. She has very dry and painful cracked skin around her nails so I wanted to act fast. I didn't realize how serious it was, so I figured it was better than nothing. She loves my hydrating blend, but I haven't heard of the effectiveness of the tube. Let's see. However, I love that the regular lip balm labels fit perfectly and so far they seem to be holding up securely.
