The hair is very soft. I would like to add that using almost all 3 bands certainly completed the style. I will definitely order more hair. I was specifically waiting to write a review. My daughters sewing has held up well. After 30 days, the hair is still soft, almost tangle-free and practically does not fall out. I used very little oil (shine) on my hair. Wash and condition once a week, highly recommended. Only criticism is that the clasp was too thin. Bought another.
