As other reviewers have noted, these glasses suit a narrow face better than a wide (or maybe even medium) face. For a minority of people with narrow faces, they offer a rare opportunity to seal themselves from minor chemical splashes or splashes. I don't know if they meet published safety standards, but personally I would feel safe using these goggles indoors with solvents, chlorine bleach, liquid fertilizers or herbicides.
