Let me start by saying that the ab roller is a useful ab roller trainer. I really feel it when I do exercises with it. In my opinion this is the wrong device if your goal is to burn belly fat. This can be very difficult and inefficient as spot training is considered a myth. Anyway, my review of the device is short. It works very well for me and I'm sure it can support my weight without the risk of breaking it. The only downside is that I had a hard time installing it at first. The rubber grips must be placed on the metal bar, one on each side of the wheel. It might be easy for some, but mine would probably take the strongest man in the world. This may depend on the temperature you are in, as metal and rubber are likely to expand/contract differently. Anyway, if you're having this problem, here's how I solved it: 1) Insert a handle into the bar as far as it will go. 2) Place the bar so the handle is touching the ground and the other side of the bar is facing the ground. Heaven. Place a piece of cardboard on top of the pole (I used the box it came in) 3) Gently tap the cardboard on top of the pole with a hammer/mallet until the handle goes in. Don't make him move. very far. It shouldn't take many clicks. 4) Place the wheel on the bar. 5) Move the handle to the other side of the plate and repeat the process with the new handle facing down. Make sure you don't go too far, or the two knobs will squeeze the wheel together in the middle and you'll have a hard time pushing them further apart. Anyway, that worked for me. Hope this helps someone.
