Reviews are true someone can adjust the strap once it's locked and even remove it if you use it on a smaller suitcase. However, it is still an effective product with some modifications. 1) I will use two straps/locks and cross them on each large suitcase. 2) I will also find a way to make it so that a potential thief cannot change the length of the strap. 3) Be aware that if they have the TSA key, they can open them all. It's about slowing them down so they move on to another piece of luggage. I also see it as extra security if the zip breaks during transport. I ordered a total of six for three large suitcases.
