After initial difficulties putting on the silicone ear tips, I enjoy the comfort and balanced sound I can get from these headphones. I used to use traditional on-ear headphones, but they were uncomfortable, hot and cut off the sound from other musicians too much. ) and feel less cut off from the world. I can still hear the house speakers but they don't get in the way and since I can balance the mix of all the other musicians/singers myself (on the stage headset power supply) I get the perfect mix. This is important, especially when listening to drums and bass at the same time. My experience with mid-priced headphones that were always uncomfortable almost made me stop buying them. Very glad I did as I now have the best of all worlds; Comfort, balanced sound and stage presence. Best of all, I don't have to worry about hearing loss or feedback from old-fashioned monitors.
