I've been using Clear Care almost since it came out (probably 2002-2003?) Loved it then, love it now and think it's the safest, most effective cleaning solution out there. ever created. Like most people, I've used "no rub" solutions for years, which don't actually rub and have had limited effectiveness at removing protein buildup and killing germs. When Clear Care came out, I was thrilled to learn that the active ingredient was hydrogen peroxide. As you probably know, hydrogen peroxide is a safe and effective cleaning agent. It effectively kills potentially harmful pathogens found on contact lenses, actively removes protein/mineral deposits and breaks down, leaving you oxygenated and hydrated (so very little irritation). It works more efficiently than other products and the unusual design of the contact lens case uses the natural cleaning and disinfection of peroxide. Your contacts will be cleaner. You will most likely find them more comfortable. You will most likely find that they last longer. You'll probably find that they correct your vision better if you have toric lenses like me (the peroxide removes debris that can cause a toric lens to become unbalanced and not seat properly on the eye). You'll also likely find a lot less eye problems. The only downside is that you CANNOT inject this solution directly into your eyes (otherwise you are injecting active peroxide into your eyes) and you should not use contact lenses or remove them from your eye. Solution until the purification process is complete, i.e. when the peroxide breaks down into H2O and O2. All in all, this solution is just fantastic. It's very expensive but worth every penny. It provides significant improvements over other products and the contact lens wearer benefits greatly from these improvements, particularly the strength and safety of hydrogen peroxide. When used correctly, the benefits are many. The eyes are pretty dirty parts and dirty contacts can lead to numerous eye problems. It therefore makes sense to use hydrogen peroxide to achieve a degree of cleaning that is not possible with other solutions. Try ClearCare and I think you will be amazed by what you experience.
