This brace features a Velcro strapped slit at the back of the leg and Velcro strapped laces at the front. You don't have to strain yourself to attach something to an injured leg or ankle. You cut the back, slip it over your leg, fasten the back, close the velcros (per their instructions) and you're good to go. Or maybe lame considering you needed those braces in the first place. This is the fourth ankle brace I've tried and it's also the last. They are way better than any "free" (I think at an additional cost) braces I got from a doctor.
