This docking station was purchased in December 2017, used twice for backups and then sat on a shelf until September 2018 because I installed two NAS and used them for automatic backups. . In September 2018, this docking station was set up to recover all data from a hard drive that was removed from a laptop onto a new, larger hard drive installed in the same laptop. The docking station failed immediately after pressing the power button. So two uses in the first week of ownership and a complete failure the next time it is used nine months later. You can count. Now I have to search for warranty support and waste a lot of time. I do NOT recommend this dock due to low reliability.
