My sister recently found out that she has breast cancer. Luckily for her, it was stage 0 and treatment required no more than simple surgery. I know she wanted to get back to work as soon as possible, but even after the biopsy she was in enough pain and wanted to use ice during breaks. Regular ice cream was difficult to hide and she could only use it during bathroom breaks, but it was comfortable to wear under clothing. She started using them right after the surgery and said it really makes a difference. The ice packs fit snugly inside her bra so they were easy to use and couldn't be seen under her clothes unless she was wearing something super tight. They were comfortable and worked well. Since she only had surgery on one side, she wore one while one was in the freezer, and then the other while the first froze again. While I cannot speak for the relief of breastfeeding, I would recommend it to those who have had breast surgery. She used them for a week straight and stayed with me throughout my recovery.
