tested in several scenarios, I tested fast charging on the original charger, everything worked fine, I used the same hub, this new cable, no luck with fast charging, then i made sure fast charging was on and put my device on a wireless charger where i saw fast charging was happening, again not on the cable, but on my existing device. I did everything I could and came to the conclusion that fast charging does not work at all on these devices, only normal charging. It's still a decent loading speed and still works great. I was disappointed that the fast charge feature didn't work, but overall I'm still happy with the cable as its quality is superior to some cheaper brands that can short out the device. Transfer speeds were as expected, cables were quite long, but I'd like to add one thing: the plastic case is a bit thicker than most. So if you have a case that fits standard chargers very well, this one is on the front of this list of unsuitable case chargers. It fits well, but most of the time it's not a big problem. I'm not sure if I can't test other devices.
