There is a rectangular mark on the wallet as if a business card had been briefly left on and embossed into the wallet. The skin is questionable. The inner skin has a slight leather smell mixed with something else that I can't identify. Thinner skin on the inside. The combination of these things leads me to suspect that the parts of the wallet are made of bonded leather and not real leather. SD slots: I think this is useless. I'm a wildlife photographer and I've never felt the need to carry an SD card in my everyday wallet.
