Wow! After being home for over a year, I'm looking to improve my health by exercising, including more activities when things open up, and looking for data points to track my progress. Smart scales were on the list and I was lucky enough to find them. Initially I was skeptical about all the declared options and features, followed by the unreasonably low price. However, I am familiar with govee's products and own a Bluetooth thermometer from the company, which did not put me on the wrong track. I thought why not give these scales a try. I'm not sorry! Outstanding quality, ease of use and accuracy. The scale is chic and very well made. The surface is almost like flat glass with built-in sensors. Looks very nice, my friends thought it cost a lot more! The quality of the material is good floor grips all around so it stays in place and won't ruin floors. The application is great! Here you get all information. Programming the scale of the complex is not required! With the old "smart" scales, you had to program everything into an inconvenient scale interface. govee app is a simple easy interface. Please note that you need to create an account in the app. From here, it records and saves all measurement data from the scale. Bluetooth works fine after pairing. I use the scale 2 times a day, it connects to the app every time. And all results will be saved. I have other scales that I have checked my weight on for accuracy. The hydration metric is definitely interesting. I randomly track it through an app on my phone and it's definitely accurate - I need to drink more, still working on that. I usually open the application, put it on the counter, step on the scale. The weight is immediately displayed on the scale, and then squares appear. When you look at the app, you'll see the weight while it starts calculating the rest. The application screen then loads all the data points. This happens in less than 10 seconds. At this point you can step off the scale. The instructions say you have to recalibrate the scale every time it moves, but I only had to calibrate once and that worked right out of the box. I've moved it a few times and it continues to show accurate dates. I love this scale and would highly recommend it for its ease of use, quality and features at a great price.
