Cord holders that keep each cord separate are really only good for countertops where separation between each cord is good when you have lots of options for charging cords, etc. However, to organize your cord under your desk, this product is all you need. I've seen people have sets, and the floor is always an assemblage of different systems, probably because when people decide to organize chords under the table, they buy an assortment of products. I bought this product myself along with cable holders and found that this product is all you need. If you're having traction issues, that's probably the area where your chords turn corners, like you're going over the edge of a table at the top. If you do, remove and replace with VSB tape and reinstall. In my opinion everyone has Scotch on hand, but everyone should have VSP Scotch in their arsenal. One final tip: if you're planning on buying chord cases to accommodate multiple chords that go down the floor to "hide" an unsightly appearance, buy cases with zippers, not Velcro. The velcro makes it difficult to snap on, but the zipper closes almost instantly.
