I recently got a little Cornish Rex kitten, just over 2 pounds, about 4 months old. Most cats have three types of hair: guard hair, guard hair, and downy hair. The cord is also long enough that I can hold it slightly away from the wall just for some peace of mind. 2. I read here that it doesn't heat enough. It's really warm, all the more so, and I'm afraid it might irritate the cat's skin or fur. The price is reasonable, the cover is removable and washable. I didn't want to buy a heated cat bed that pollution would eventually render useless. There are also some great color options to choose from depending on your style. I chose green sage which is a fairly neutral tone but I see you can get different patterns. I was lucky enough to interest her in this bed when she was young. I know cats can be picky, but for a Cornish Rex this is a great purchase. She sniffed it the first day and ignored it, which leads me to think the chemical smell of the package it arrived in was unpleasant. A few days later and when I don't give her enough lap time, she gets attracted like a magnet. It's worth a small amount of money, I encourage you to buy!
