The product delivered was not new, there was residue on the top where the water comes out. There was also hard water residue in and on the tubing. It does seem to be working right now, but we will see how it goes.It was very quirky with a small piece on the inside that had to be a perfect way- we had to add water to the middle part before adding water to the base in order to get it to stop beeping.
