These lamps work very well. They're about as bright as small night lights, so don't expect to light up your gazebo with just one set. Each light will dimly illuminate 2-3 feet; not recommended for reading with only one lightbulb. Put 15 lightbulbs together and you have a 10x10 area that's comfortable for relaxing. It might still not be bright enough to read underneath, but it's enough to see everything underneath. Overall I am very happy with these lights. The price is about what you get. I bought a similar set a year ago for about the same price and they work about the same.
