Very durable shells that retain heat incredibly well. The seller sent me a few emails which were a nice touch. An email described the initial "tuning" of the bowls for better flavor and longevity. Detailed care instructions were also included. The last letter was a great thing and a real bibimbap recipe. I will prepare it for the new year this week. as this seems better than the ones I made before receiving these bowls. Update: Made bibimbap with the recipe that was posted and it was fantastic. The stone bowl kept it hot and the rice got crispy on the bottom.
