It is unusual for European hotels to supply face cloths so if you use them, you have to take your own. if traveling around and changing location often, drying a regular face cloth becomes a problem. I often have to pack them in the morning while still damp. I bought these cloths because they were advertised as appropriate for travel needs -- and they are! These are quite large, maybe even slightly bigger than a standard washcloth -- they are super soft -- they dry overnight except under the most humid conditions -- and they are inexpensive -- less than $1.00 per cloth (specifically these were $.79 per piece). So if you use one or two on a lengthy vacation and then toss them, they've served their purpose and you aren't out a lot of money. I took two of these on a recent two-week vacation to Greece. Tossed one of them at the vacation and will launder the second to reuse. I think these are a great value.
