Gives good light, very evenly lit portrait shots. It would have gotten five stars if it wasn't so difficult to use. ---Your light is hidden inside and you can't reach it without tearing off the diffuser with velcro. It's annoying. Also, you can't grab the light stand to move it because it's hidden inside and that big reflector requires you to bend down and grab the stand very deep, then everything is very difficult. I solved the problem by attaching an 18 inch white zipper to the diffuser fabric. Now I just unzip, adjust the light or move the stand, zip up. With Lightning installed, I would give the device 4.5 stars, maybe even five. Like all velcro mesh it is a hassle to install. But it works well. Of course once the mesh is in place you cannot access the zip. For the money this is a great reflector.
