I am in the process of upgrading my CAT5e to CAT6a and have purchased an STP cable to connect to my fiber optic ISP and home network server at 10G. When I researched them online I wasn't sure if I would like them or not. Now I'm sure I love her. It is very easy to pass the cables through (without unwinding them) and then slide them into the slots. A word of caution: DO NOT fully close the lid until you are 100% ready to close it. It has a little lock on each side that's hard to pick if you close it before you're ready.
