Review on πŸ‘• Silhouette Cameo 10-Inch Transfer Assorted T-Shirts by Matt Zraik

Revainrating 3 out of 5

I used a Silhouette and Circuit Easy Press 2 cutting machine

low stars for inconsistent quality. The first order had to be returned, the second had some colored streaked sheets and one glitter sheet that wasn't properly sealed making it look like sandpaper. Suitable for non-retail projects, runs, small decorations or to play with children - not recommended for resale projects. Circut Easy Press 2: ***** I always wash before applying any type of transfer (ink or vinyl) as it removes any fabric treatments (allows the pattern to adhere better) or odors and also the product will shrink if it will be shrink .one. Flip or flip the design horizontally to flip the design. Send to the cutter by pressing the send button.2. Cutting: Set the automatic blade to heat transfer mode, smooth vinyl mode or glitter vinyl mode, depending on what you are using. Choose 2 passes,3. Place the vinyl sheet on the cutting mat with the glossy side (transparent side) down.4. With Silhouette you are informed before cutting that you may want to mirror the design or send it to the cutter. Respond accordingly. Press the Test button to run a cut test. ALWAYS MAKE A TEST CUT! I found that not all sheets were cut from it. I had to set 3 times to yellow.5. Weeding after pruning. This is where the biggest problem comes in - with this vinyl it is very difficult to separate the clear membrane from the vinyl. I've found that the best way to do this is before laying the vinyl on the mat, by using a utility knife or needle to separate the two layers at the corner and then snip a small section of the vinyl. (this allows you to grab the clear film to remove) 6. Set the Easy Press 2 to 305 degrees and the timer to 20 seconds. Preheat the area you are applying it to by placing a silicon mat or parchment paper on the area and then using Easy Press for 10 seconds.7. Place the vinyl design, shiny side up, over the area (you should be able to see the design as it should be, not a mirror image) with the clear membrane facing up. Cover with silicon foil or parchment paper before pressing (prevents material from scorching where there is no pattern), allow to cool, then press from the back, remember to use a protective material over the material before attempting the transparent one membrane to remove.8. SLOWER! If any part of the vinyl begins to rise, lower the diaphragm and repeat step 7 for 10-20 seconds.9. Allow to cool completely before removing the membrane. Wash for at least 24 hours after curing.
