Review on 🚴 Experience Unmatched Comfort with beroy Women's Cycling Shorts by Walter Hodzic

Completed 18 miles + 24 hour test! My new favorites

My new favorite cycling shorts! I recently started cycling instead of running because of a hamstring injury. Unfortunately, this is also amplified when I'm sitting on a hard surface and it comes to cycling. I tried a gel bike seat but took it off because it seemed to compress and was actually putting MORE pressure on my female parts. I had other padded cycling shorts but this one had more padding so I decided to give it a try. I'm so glad I did! Fit: I'm 5'8", about 142 lbs, long waist - medium rise fits great, has room to stretch. I don't have a lot of natural butt pads and I'm usually lighter (thanks to the pandemic). Even at my normal weight of 132 pounds I think they will still fit me just fine. Handle: so comfortable! Instead of shrinking, they have dots of glue on the legs (see picture) and don't ride up at all! The overall stretch is supportive but not restrictive, the waistband is wide AND has a drawcord (I don't need it but it's nice to have). I even did a little yoga in them while riding and they mastered handstands and backbends without riding up or pinching. Functionality: I was a bit concerned that they might have too much padding, but they just took a bit of getting used to. While riding I felt like I was slipping in the seat more than usual, perhaps a combination of material and added buoyancy from the padding, but by no means a deal breaker. The biggest test for me, however, is 24 hours later. When I woke up this morning my hamstring wasn't burning and my butt didn't hurt at all! When my super bad hamster is relatively happy, THAT is HUGE proof of padding design. I could even put her on a kayak (the seat hurts too). Appearance: Okay, padded bike shorts just don't flatter the design! The crotch and back are always going to be a bit odd, but overall I don't think they're unattractive - partly because of the shape, pattern, and material that doesn't cut into meaty chunks. Especially after gaining some weight, I'm very happy that the belt is forgiving. So to sum up these were definitely well put on, I would highly recommend them and I will probably buy a second pair as now I could actually ride 2 days in a row and still be walking the next day (and after putting them on , I don't want to go back to my old shorts) - hooray!
