So far so good. The original knob started to wear out after about 180,000 miles. The feel is a little different than the original, but it didn't take long to get used to. Easy installation until you fit the factory boot around the bottom of the grip. The original pen was also difficult to remove from the case. Suggest to put the cuff over the shifter and install the cuff on the bottom of the knob, then screw the knob onto the shifter and be careful not to wrap the cuff around the shifter when the knob is screwed on . Preferred and actual OEM pen but not willing to pay as much as for a high mileage older car. Happy with this purchase.
