At first I was skeptical about using larger compression and ice compression bandages with pump but my nurse recommended this and she had a double prosthetic knee and said it worked wonders for her . It is very easy to set up and the water in the thermos stays cold for at least 24 hours. The plugs don't even drip when you unplug them. What I didn't realize is that you just plug in the thermos to fill the cuff, then turn it off and move or relax. After just a few days, I noticed a significant reduction in swelling. Also, the cuff is quite large, I photographed it on my knee and then showed how much was left on the strap. I can't believe how well this works and I'm so glad I got it.
