I bought a Caselogic 15" laptop bag, the strap was almost useless - just fell off my shoulder at the slightest shrug. I replaced the strap with this one - although it does was the same price as my caselogic bag - and it's perfect.at first it seemed like a really big pad compared to the original oem strap and it's not much but i'm keeping it anyway.i think oem was too small now OEM didn't have swivel clamps either Yes it was expensive but I would buy it again because it's a very well designed/made product Update: After six months it has stopped gripping
