I've tried black in both small and medium sizes, but neither worked for me. a bit too loose in the leg and didn't make me feel secure while squatting.The material is very soft, like a cotton blend.Black is a different material from striped black, black and white bold stripe and black and white checkered.The husband said that all 4 of these colors none Afraid of squats.The bright black and white stripe and medium check pattern suited me.They appear to be soft nylon.My favorite medium black striped colors.This is a bit thicker material than the others and doesn't ride me at all. Any of these colors will do if you're not squatting. They all look, fit, and feel good.
