They are very well made but not fragile like some plastic items. This makes them prone to cracking. None were damaged and packed very neatly and tightly in a small box. I'm a big baker. A little advice. do yourself a favor If you're baking some cupcakes for an event and ordering them, make sure you split them up a few days in advance or the night before. Just trust me and put them in the big waiting basket. Here, too, they are densely packed. They will be very upset that you have to mess with them to separate them. At this point you can simply damage one of them by hurrying as we can do when time is of the essence. Again it could be just me. I try to work smart, not hard. But yes - they are a great choice and perfectly hold a 2 1/4 cup cake base.
