My oldest daughter runs and these events can last 5-7 hours. My crawling baby is tired of just sitting on my lap or carrying them around and this item is perfect for her to feel a little free. I throw in her blanket and some of her toys and she's happy. My middle daughter who is 9 also loves to curl up indoors with her baby and play with her iPad. The top of the tent is easy to set up and take down, and the whole thing folds up to easily fit in a carry bag. It's very light, so I just throw it over my shoulder when I get out of the car. I got compliments on every track from other parents with young children/kids asking where I got it. This is a good size for our needs. Small enough to carry around but roomy enough for kids. The only thing is that on the floor where the kids sit there aren't many pillows, so I take a blanket to lay on the floor. I think you can buy a pillow that fits perfectly, but I don't know if that detracts from its portability. I am very happy with this purchase
