I used these in a 2016 wrx after I replaced the orange side markers with clear smoked lens. I needed a perfect Amber color since I no longer had the orange lens and this was the only one I could find with the right color. The brightness also had to be higher than typical halogen to get through the smoked lens; again spot on. Great price and great product so far. I cannot speak about lifetime yet but I will update when they die. I will say that be careful during install and make sure they work before closing everything up; there is a 50% chance you will install it backwards and it will not turn on. LEDs require +12V on the right terminal. On the wrx its a pain to get to these lights so check to make sure it turns on before closing everything up.
