This Mr. Coffee makes a delicious and delicious cup of joe. However, there are a few caveats. First you have to understand that in the world of Mr. Coffee, a mug only weighs 6 ounces. If you like a nice big cup of coffee, you'd better plan on 2 cups per serving. Second, this coffee maker is rated for 12 cups (72 oz), but if you brew that much, the coffee filter will overflow and cause a mess of wet coffee grounds in the machine. I don't know in which universe the good people from Mr. Coffee ever made a 12 cup coffee pot, but they have to use very coarse coffee to get it through the filter faster. If you limit yourself to an 8-cup glass, you'll be fine.
