I have been using Clinque products for over 20 years and am very familiar with their products. However, when I ordered this "gel cleanser" and used it for the first time, it was clear that it was not soap. It might actually be a lotion, but it doesn't have the soapy properties that a legitimate Clinique cleanser does. It smears makeup all over my face with little to no removal unlike anything I've ever bought from a real Clinique. I am so disappointed as this is the first time something like this has happened when I order my products from Amazon.
