At the beginning of the pandemic, I ordered a multipack of what were supposed to be 100% cotton masks. They didn’t feel like cotton, but since I work from home I wasn’t that bothered by the feeling of the masks. However, after a few weeks I noticed my skin was getting dry patches and insane amounts of deep pustules. I have never had a problem with dry patches or acne (just the usual pimple every now and then). I couldn’t even stand to look in the mirror because my skin was so messed up! I was putting on acne patches nonstop and so confused why my skin was freaking out this bad. I did research, and it turns out that I had more than just "maskne.” Apparently certain fabrics and breathing in your own hot breath can actually cause a fungal infection! I was told that silk masks were the best solution for not irritating your skin. I immediately order this pack of masks and my skin issues disappeared! The masks are comfortable, breathable and look great! I was a little worried about washing them, but that turned out to be easy as well. I HIGHLY recommend these masks, especially if you have had any skin issues due to masks (or just find the ones you are using uncomfortable). Great value for the money as well!
