Review on 🚿 Speakman SC-1220-AF Commander Vandal-Resistant Industrial Exposed Shower: Cross Handles & S-2252 Brass Shower Head in Polished Chrome by Renee Thomas

We installed a Speakman outdoor shower faucet last week and it looks great! us to consider Speakman for our outdoor shower. For starters, we had free access to hot and cold water garden faucets (3/4 inch each). We bought a set of two washing machine hose inlet lines to feed the shower faucet valve. Installation instructions for a dual lever shower valve indicate that the faucet valve screws in about 54 inches off the floor. Since we have kids, we felt the suggested placement was too high, so we lowered it 12 inches (i.e. 42 inches off the ground) and bought a matching 12 inch brass nipple to compensate for the lower placement. We also had the water supply lines under the faucet valve, so we just flipped the faucet valve and swapped the red and blue round labels (red and blue index knobs) so the hot water supply line was on the left. with a button labeled red (warm), and the cold water inlet is on the right side with a button labeled blue (cold). We also needed a separate hand shower, so we bought both a diverter and a separate hand shower. We plan to winterize our outdoor showers as follows: 1. Unscrew the leads to the light fixture at the end of the fall season2. Unscrew the drain plug at the bottom center of the tool valve and drain excess water from the valve3.
